While Marcus Lemonis is there, he finds that the owner is in debt due to bad business practices.  He also thinks the product does not measure up to expectations and that the workplace lacks organization and efficiency.

Tonight on the season 6 premiere of The Profit, Marcus Lemonis is in Chicago, Illinois hoping to make a deal with NYC Bagel Deli.  NYC Bagel Deli is a local bagel shop owned by Corey Kaplan that offers bagels, sandwiches, salads and pizza.  While Marcus Lemonis is there, he finds that Corey is resistant to change and has trouble listening to his wife's ideas.  Marcus will try to create new products at the store and he also wants to rename the store to The Famous Corey's NYC Bagel Deli.
